How to Edit Templates

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liYyQvLgLbA

Whether you are editing or creating a new template, it works the same.

To move items around in a section You click on edit and then drag the item up and down the list. You can delete items by placing a checkmark next to them and then clicking on the garbage can up top. To delete the whole section, you click on the garbage can in the bottom. You can duplicate items by putting checkmarks next to them and clicking the “Copy” button. After you have finished with your changes, click the “Done” button.

If you want to change the order of the sections, click the ellipsis in the top right corner, click reorder, and move the sections up and down in the list which will put them in order left to right. Here you also have the option to delete the entire template. Just remember that this action can’t be undone, so you would have to start over from the beginning.

In each item, you can add new comments that can be added quickly when you are out on an inspection, as well as new attributes.

With attributes you can create text input, number input for measurements, single & multiple selections, as well as date entry. This can be a very efficient tool during your inspections.

If you are setting it up as a single or multiple selection, you can create several options to pick from by clicking “Add New Value” until you have the choices you need and then clicking create when you are done. If you are setting up a number input, you can add a unit of measurement that will be indicated on the report.

If you create an item in the list and mark it as an “Informational Item” You have the option to make it appear as a tab on the report. This is useful if you prefer to format the information in this way.
