Home Inspection Call Centers

Home Inspection Call Centers – If you run a small home inspection business, you’re probably aware that time spent on the phone could take away a big chunk of the time that you would need to spend inspecting homes instead. If this is the situation you find yourself in, you’re probably facing the dilemma on whether you should spend the time on taking calls yourself or get some support staff that does it for you.

You might be surprised to learn that there is a third option available for you as well. There are companies that offer call centers specifically for home inspectors. This will free up your time while not costing you as much as hiring someone to cover phones for you would.

I hired a home inspection call center for all three of my inspection companies and never looked back. It is cheaper than hiring staff, they do all the training, I don’t have to worry about staff turnover or when someone quits, and it is a much easier process overall.

Since these companies specialize in taking calls for home inspectors, they will have an experienced team available that can represent you in a professional way. Of course, you want to do your research first to ensure that you are getting the service that fits your business plan. There are many options and add-ons available, and pricing can differ widely between the different services. We have compiled a list of some of the major companies that offer call center services for home inspectors, and hopefully you will find this information helpful in your decision on what service to choose.

Superior Scheduler is a newer player in the home inspection call center market. They were added to this post on 6/1/2023, and at that time they were about 6 months old. They have several home inspection companies that many would recognize on their books.

Their fees are pretty straightforward. As you look at their website, they have three plans that range from $275 – $375 per month as the base fee, and then $25 per booked inspection.

They have a smaller team of three, along with the owner, who has been scheduling inspections for inspectors since 2010, but with different companies.

Inspector Call Center has three plans named Flex, Executive, and Business. For the Flex plan, there is no base fee, they charge $5 for each minute a call takes, and $27 for every completed inspection where they were involved. The base fee for the Executive plan starts at $100 per billing cycle, and $23 for each inspection where they were involved. On the Business plan the base fee is 50% of the Executive plan, but it is $30 for each inspection where they were involved.

As with other call center companies in our review, there is a long list of services that they offer, so your best option would be to take a look at their website to see which plan offers what will fit you best.

America’s Call Center

Home Inspection Call Centers

americascallcenter.com

America’s Call Center has been around for nearly two decades, and they are one of the first names to come up when someone mentions home inspection call centers. Many home inspectors have found their services to be a great boost both to their efficiency as well as their bottom line. They offer 3 tiers of service, but these can be customized to a great extent. On top of the phone service, they also provide scheduling, booking, upselling, and many more additions depending on the tier you choose. There is a feature comparison section on their website that will let you see exactly what the different tiers offer for you.

As is the case with many of these businesses, there is a base cost per month with an additional fee per inspection that you complete with their help. It will be up to you to decide whether the increased revenue from the upselling of services as well as the load it will take off of your shoulders is worth the cost.

There is no contract to worry about, you can end the service whenever you want to, and it takes them about 2 weeks to go through the onboarding process so that they can know your company well enough to be truly helpful.
It is also good to note that they offer a discount for InterNACHI members.

Conclusion – Home Inspections Call Centers

These are some of the more established services that cater specifically to home inspectors. The advantage of having this specialization is that the operators will be very familiar with the business, the type of clients, and the possible hurdles that face you as a home inspector.

If you feel like you spend more time on the phone than you do actually inspecting, then one of these companies could help you out. The same is true if you find it difficult to have the time to follow up on leads, advertise your services or upselling when possible. You will find that the trained professionals at a call center can boost your bottom line, making each inspection more profitable and ensuring that you don’t miss out on any opportunities.

While we did our best to get the latest information, prices and services can change from the time this story was published. Picking the right partner will take some additional research on your part, but hopefully, this collection of information was helpful in pointing you in the right direction.
