Comment Standards
We are happy to release comment standards! Now you can permanently attach pictures and/or text to a comment. This will enable those pictures and comments to appear every time you choose that comment. For instance, you may have a comment that states, “Baluster spacing is too wide.” But when you choose this comment, you may want to add additional photos of what the baluster spacing should be, and add text explaining the proper spacing as well. With comment standards, this is now easy and automated.

A New Look!
We made some stylistic improvements to the app, making buttons and certain items more modern and visible while keeping the same areas and locations of all of your usual items. Enjoy the new look and feel!
Large Infrastructure Upgrade
While this may not be on the top of your list of wanted features, this is an important one. You probably noticed that we haven’t released any new features in about four months. That is because the entire team has been working diligently on a large infrastructure upgrade. This will keep us current, but also create performance improvements.
Apple Issue
For our Apple users: Apple announced that it introduced a bug into its own operating system several weeks ago, and they have not fixed it yet. This affects anyone on iOS 17.4 and above. Since Apple was not able to fix the issue in a reasonable period of time, we built a fix into our app to work around it. If you noticed ITB shutting down, freezing, or other issues, then you are likely affected by that Apple issue. Our team worked overtime to figure out a workaround to make sure everyone stays up and running properly. We will continue to monitor this situation with Apple’s operating system and adjust accordingly.
BUG FIXES| IMPROVEMENTS | ROADMAP | & ANNOUNCEMENTS
– FIXED: Apple photos have an issue if you update the app at the same time you are uploading photos
– FIXED: Invoices get “stuck” processing if you push the button more than once
– FIXED: Columns in report with no cards or components triggered a publishing error
– IMPROVED: Removed automatic numbering on agreements
– IMPROVED: Firefox is not a browser that we support. Firefox blocks certain Google functions, and since our app is built on Google’s platform, it can block some of our functions as well. We created a popup to remind Firefix users of this if they access our app from Firefox. We function well on all other supported browsers, which include (but are not limited to) Google Chrome, Edge, Safari, and more.
– UPCOMING FEATURES: We are working on a lot of new features, but here are just a few of them:
- Sub-items – the ability to give specific comments a rating and attach pictures to a specific comment within a card. So you then have one item as a maintenance item and one as a defect, etc – all within one card.
- New web report format option – you are going to love this new optional format 🙂
- Edit location tags feature.
- Improved scheduling widget features.
- & much more!
– ANNOUNCEMENT: Although we have no plans to discontinue the free tier of ITB, some changes and limitations will be coming. One change is limiting the number of inspections per month, which will be coming up this year.
