BUG FIXES| IMPROVEMENTS | ROADMAP | & ANNOUNCEMENTS
– FIXED: Long Name in Inspection Request List getting Jumbled
– FIXED: Standards images not being saved when saving a global comment
– FIXED: Reschedule module cuts off 2nd time slot when screen resolution is at 100% on some desktop devices
– IMPROVED: The Spectora template and contact imports were significantly improved to accommodate much larger templates being imported.
– UPCOMING FEATURES: We are working on a lot of new features, but here are just a few of them (in order of our process at this time):
- Improved rescheduling functions and automations.
- Increase in number of notifications to 25.
- Sub-items – the ability to give specific comments a rating and attach pictures to a specific comment within a card. So you then have one item as a maintenance item and one as a defect, etc – all within one card.
- Associating comments with pictures
- Edit location tags feature.
- Improved scheduling widget features.

– ANNOUNCEMENT for FREE TIER USERS ONLY (not those trialing or on pro): This was announced in April of this year, and again a couple of months ago, as well as in the popup in the app: Although we have no plans to discontinue the free tier of ITB, some changes and limitations will be coming. One change is limiting the number of inspections per month, which will be coming up this year. Please make note of this, as we are trying to give as much notice as possible to those who use the free tier.
We will be limiting the number of inspections that free tier users can schedule in a month to likely 5 (still in discussion) and will likely be turning on pro scheduling features (so you will have 25 notifications available, service area, and other features available on the Pro tier). The 5 free scheduled inspections do not include 5 free reports each month though – it only includes the scheduling portion. Please contact support for questions if you are on the free tier.
REMINDER: Apple Issue
For our Apple users: Apple announced that it introduced a bug into its own operating system several weeks ago, and they have not fixed it yet. This affects anyone on iOS 17.4 and above. Since Apple was not able to fix the issue in a reasonable period of time, we built a fix into our app to work around it. If you noticed ITB shutting down, freezing, or other issues, then you are likely affected by that Apple issue. Our team worked overtime to figure out a workaround to make sure everyone stays up and running properly. We will continue to monitor this situation with Apple’s operating system and adjust accordingly.
Update: Apple fixed part of the bug, but then the bug was reintroduced back into their operating system in a version around 17.6. They appear to be trying to fix it, but not giving as much feedback as we would hope. Our internal fix to bypass their bug is still working, but you may still occasionally see an issue.
