Associating Pictures With Comments

You are now able to associate pictures directly with comments. This feature allows you to have higher-level images at the component level, your standards gallery images, and then associate particular images directly with a particular comment – giving you more control and the ability to be as granular with your comments as you’d like.

BUG FIXES| IMPROVEMENTS | ROADMAP | & ANNOUNCEMENTS

– FIXED: Sometimes when editing an inspection that is not the main widget type, it will display the options for the main widget instead
– FIXED: The summary button on the side of the new web report does not work
– FIXED: The view report button at the top picture of the report brings you to the summary
– FIXED: If information tabs are checked as tabs, when publishing the report you cannot click on the tab/it will not change
– FIXED: Various bug fixes to the Legacy and New report formats

– IMPROVED: The attribute spacing can sometimes flow together where the words are almost touching – this has been improved so it is clear and more consistent
– IMPROVED: Enhanced the new report format to fix some styling issues
– IMPROVED: Cover image visibility improvements on mobile.

– UPCOMING FEATURES: We are working on a lot of new features, but here are just a few of them (in order of our process at this time):

  • Edit location tags feature.
  • Template export and import feature.
  • Mark the report as “read” when the client or others view the report with report analytics.
  • The ability to give specific comments a rating. So you can have one item as a maintenance item and one as a defect, etc – all within one card.
  • Improved scheduling widget features.
  • Notification improvements and new notification features.
  • & much more!

– ANNOUNCEMENT for FREE TIER USERS ONLY (not those trialing or on pro): This was announced in April of this year, and again several times over this year in email, on our website, and in the popup message within the app: Although we have no plans to discontinue the free tier of ITB, some changes and limitations will be coming in just a few weeks.

We will be limiting the number of inspections that free tier users can schedule in a month to 5 and will be turning on pro scheduling features for free users (so you will have 25 notifications available, service area, and other features available on the Pro tier). The 5 free scheduled inspections do not include 5 free reports each month though – it only includes the scheduling portion.

These changes will be coming up in the next few weeks. Please note this, as we are trying to give as much notice as possible to those who use the free tier. Please contact support for questions if you are on the free tier.

Please note that if you are already a paid user, or sign up for the paid version before the price increase, you will be locked into our old pricing and you will not be affected by this price increase.

Starting in February 2025, our new price for the paid version of our app will be $79 per month (previously $69 per month). With new features, AI integration, and upcoming great innovations, this price increase is necessary to keep providing you with great service and features. There is time to lock in at the old pricing though – so now is the time to upgrade today!
