Inspectors in Texas that want to use the TREC template will need to follow these steps to make sure that their inspection reports follow the correct format.

To start using the TREC template, you will first need to download it to your account. You can do this in the templates section of the app.

Find the latest TREC template and click on the “Get” button next to it.

Make sure you have the ITB TREC Standard Rating selected. You can also choose to rename the template to personalize it. When you are ready to import the template, just hit “Done”.

After the template has been added to your account, you can click on edit to customize it.

Your report needs to use the correct report format for output that conforms to the TREC standard. You select that by clicking on the Information (i) button in the top right corner and selecting TREC for “Report Format”.

It is important to remember that adding and removing sections and cards can make it so the final report doesn’t come out in the correct format. If you need to add sections, they should be kept to the right of the existing sections.
