ITB runs great across multiple devices – and there are many hundreds of different devices to choose from. But Samsung devices have known issues that cause many different apps to crash or not work properly – and can affect our app as well.
Samsung has very aggressive memory and resource allocation limits. So if Samsung detects that an app is using more memory or resources than it allows, it actually stops the processes that the app is doing, without notifying the user (and even though there is memory and resources available). This can cause things like attributes to not show up sometimes, issues taking pictures, parts of the app not working, and many other issues. These issues appear on Samsung phones and tablets, but especially on Samsung tablets.
These issues can appear random at times, but it has to do with the device itself. Our app is modern and has a lot of functionality, so we strongly recommend using a device that can operate our app properly. So while our app will work on a Samsung device, we strongly encourage the use of a different Android device than Samsung.
