This issue comes up when someone enters a phone number incorrectly, that is not real, or has an invalid character. Our system checks phone numbers to ensure they are real. If they are not (like a test phone number) then they will not appear on the inspection order form, but will be kept on the back end – so when you edit the form you will see the invalid phone number so you can fix it. Our app will only display verifiable phone numbers.
This comes up a lot when an inspector that is new to Inspector Toolbelt is using a test phone number to test the app (i.e. just a fake number for fake inspections to see how things work). Sometimes this happens if a client puts their phone number in wrong too.
