Overview of Using Our App On-Site

Our app can be used on a phone or tablet when on-site. It works best on Apple and Android devices (see the article on Samsungs in general and the Samsung Galaxy A15).

It’s best to have your inspection ready to go before you get to your job site (template chosen and all) in case you run into a weak signal. But it is possible to create an inspection on site manually if needed (but you do need a signal). You can even add all your content (pics, videos, comments) to your report offline, but you will need a signal to load everything and publish your final report.

Go to the Inspections tab, Start a New Inspection, name the inspection, select the template you want to use, select the rating, and hit Create.

At this point, start adding photos/videos/comments. If you need to change the order of sections/cards around at any point, you can do that on-site.

In any inspection card, you will find a gear icon where you can select Continuous Camera/Auto Annotate/Save to Gallery. Click here to see what those tools do.

You can mark up or add captions to photos as shown below.

In each inspection card, you will see your selection of ratings. Select which rating fits the item inspected. The ratings you find here are based on how you set your ratings up in your menu. Click here for more information on that.

Depending on the template you have chosen, you may have a selection of comments to choose from. Select the ones you would like to use or create a new one. Any of the comments selected may be edited.

Once you’re done with your inspection, you can choose to finish the report on-site or go home and finish on your device or computer. If finishing on-site, hit the three dots on the top right of the screen, set your Cover Image, customize the Report Settings, Preview the report, and when it’s all ready, Publish the report.

Before you hit the Publish button, as shown below, select a client or agent, and add any additional email addresses you’d like to send the report to.

Note: If you made changes to your template on the inspection on-site and would like to keep those changes for a future inspection, use the Convert To Template button.
