Sometimes your inspections may look like they are being scheduled for the wrong time on your calendar, but this can happen when your time zone changes in your calendar. This can occur accidentally, or especially when you travel – as Google will update/change the time zone in your calendar automatically when you travel to different time zones. To change this setting and keep your appointment consistent, follow these instructions:

1. Open your Google Calendar app on your phone/device
2. Tap on the menu option
3. Choose the “Settings” tab (i.e. the little gear icon)
4. Then choose General
5. Find the Use device time zone option and turn it on or off.
   • If the option “Use device time zone” is in the on position, your time zone will update/change automatically as you travel.
   • If the option “Use device time zone” is off, it will keep your time zone from changing and you can choose your static time zone, such as EST, etc.
