Enabling the auto-approve option in your profile automatically approves every online inspection request that comes in. A standard request from your website widget would normally need to be approved manually – and this is the preference of many inspectors.
For some inspection companies that deal in high volume, they may have dozens of inspection requests come in each day – so having to manually approve each one may create scheduling conflicts, as several people may choose the same time before the requests can be checked.
The auto-approve option is great for companies in that situation and others. It will automatically block that time slot, but still gives you the option to change or cancel the inspection after it is scheduled.
To turn on or off your auto-approve feature, go to your profile and toggle the button on or off (see image below).
